Last updated 20 October 2026. Vouched is run by [YOUR NAME OR BUSINESS] in New Zealand.
The short version: we collect what we need to match you with good teammates and run streamer queues. We never sell your data. Sponsors only ever see combined totals, like “2,000 players”, never anything about you.
What we collect
When you log in with Discord
Your Discord ID, username, display name, avatar and email address.
What you tell us
Your Vouched name, games, gamertags, region, platform, playstyles, when you usually play, whether you use a mic, and that you're 16 or older. Streamers also add their page details, their stream and social links, and queue settings.
What you do here
Squads you post, join or ask to join; streamer queues you join; ratings you give and get; follows, blocks, reports and appeals; suggestions you post and upvote; and your squad alert and Discord ping settings.
Visits and activity
- Visit counting. When you first visit, we save a random visitor code in a cookie, along with where you came from (for example Reddit, Discord or a streamer's link) and the first page you saw. We record each day that code visits. That's how we know which links bring people in. It doesn't contain your name, and we don't store your IP address. When you sign up, we note where your first visit came from.
- Days active. For logged-in players, we note which days you used Vouched (the date only, not pages or times).
- Button clicks. When you click a streamer's Watch or Support button, we count it for them.
From Twitch
- Vouched streamers. If you add a Twitch link, we check it exists, may use your Twitch profile picture if you don't have one, and check every couple of minutes whether you're live, which game and the stream title. We use this to show you as live and to send go-live alerts. We don't store your viewer numbers on your profile or show them publicly.
- The local scene. We count public, live Twitch streams of the games we support, to understand how big the NZ/AU scene is. We keep totals only. To count how many different streamers there were in a day, each one is stored as a scrambled code, never their name, and deleted after 120 days.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, for the visit counting above, and to remember small things like whether we've counted your visit today. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Who sees what
- Everyone: your Vouched name, avatar, region, platform, playstyles, games, when you usually play and your rep tier. Also squads you post, suggestions you post (with your Vouched name), and streamer pages and links.
- Only your squad: your Discord username and gamertag, and only once a host accepts you. In streamer games, only the streamer sees them.
- Streamers: the Vouched names of players in their queue, players who follow them and players they've banned from their queue. They also see stats about their own streams, like how many joined, played, followed or clicked their links, and where those people came from. These stats are counts and don't name anyone.
- Mods: reports, ratings and appeals, so they can handle them, and suggestions mods have hidden.
- Private: who rated you and how, your email, who you've blocked or reported, your visit history and your settings.
How we use it
- To run Vouched: match squads, work out rep, run streamer queues, and send the Discord messages and alerts you've turned on.
- To keep the community safe: moderation, blocks, reports and stopping banned players coming back.
- To improve Vouched: working out what's used, what's not, and what players ask for in suggestions.
- Sponsors and partners: we may share combined, anonymous statistics, such as how many players we have, how many are in NZ or AU, how many squads were played, or how big the local Twitch scene is. We never share anything that identifies you, and we don't sell your data.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia. The website runs on Vercel. Discord handles login and messages, and Twitch provides stream information. If something on the site breaks, an error report (what went wrong and on which page, without your IP address, cookies or account details) goes to Sentry in the United States so we can fix it. They process data for us under their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
- Your profile and activity: until you delete your account.
- Visit counting cookies: the visitor code lasts up to a year, and where-you-came-from lasts 30 days.
- Scrambled Twitch streamer codes: 120 days.
- Moderation: if you delete your account, reports about you are deleted, but the mod log keeps a note that an action happened, without your name. If your account was banned, suspended or warned, we keep your Discord ID and that restriction, so it still applies if you sign up again. Nothing else is kept, and it's removed if a mod lifts the restriction.
- Visit counts: once you delete your account, they're no longer linked to you.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and games any time from Edit games & settings.
- Turn Discord pings and squad alerts off from your profile. Unfollow streamers any time.
- Remove your stream or social links from your streamer page any time.
- Ask what we hold about you, or for a correction, at privacy@getvouched.gg.
- Delete your account. This removes your profile and everything linked to it. Ratings you gave are removed too, so other players' rep is recalculated. Suggestions you posted stay up without your name, so others' upvotes aren't lost.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and let players know on the site or in the Vouched Discord.
